Investoinnit vastuulliseen ja kestävään metsätalouteen ovat kannattavia metsänomistajille ja yhteiskunnalle

  Suomen suurimpiin metsänomistajiin lukeutuva Finsilva Oyj investoi metsänhoitoon ja luontopääoman hoitamiseen vuonna 2024 yli viidenneksen puukaupan liikevaihdostaan. Investointi on pinta-alayksikköä kohti 2–3 kertaa enemmän kuin yksityismetsissä keskimäärin. Korkeat investoinnit metsänhoitoon ovat taloudellisesti kannattavia, minkä lisäksi ne lisäävät luonnon monimuotoisuutta ja tukevat työllisyyttä.
